It was a tale of two games for Madison Thursday. After getting shutout 7-0 in their first game against Skyline AA the Cats bounced back to shutout Skyline 6-0 in their second game.

Skyline scored all their runs in two innings with two coming in the third inning and five coming in the fifth inning.

Dylan Rydalch pitched five innings for the Cats allowing nine hits and seven runs with seven strikeouts and two walks. Riley Sutton pitched the other two innings allowing one hit and no runs with three strikeouts and no walks.

Marc Telford had the only hit for Madison in the game.

The back half of Madison’s doubleheader was a different story with the scoring all six of their runs in the first three innings with a high of four runs in the second inning.

Isaac Walker pitched the shutout allowing one hit and no runs with nine strikeouts and two walks.

Walker also led the Cats at the plate going 2/4 including a double with three RBIs. Jace Leatham, Ceigan Sutton, Adrian Blanco and Brendon Ball notched hits as well.

Madison’s next games are Tuesday against Idaho Falls at Madison Junior High.
