Madison’s tennis team won the Southeast Idaho Invitational in Idaho Falls beating out 15 other schools to win both the boys and overall competitions. Their boys scored 33 points on Friday and 96 points on Saturday. Their girls’ team scored 32 points on Friday and 56 points on Saturday.

Brian and Travis Barton won the boys’ number two numbers title. Gavin Hammond (number three singles) and Josh Christensen and Jessica Donnelly (mixed doubles number two) took second.

Lincoln Packer, boy’s number one singles, Bash Plummer, boys number two singles, Ethan Andreasen/ Joe Pigott number one boys’ doubles, and Spencer Burgener/ Bryn Schmidt, number one mixed doubles, each played in the semi-finals.

The Bobcats also won the overall championship. Jane Leatham played in the girls’ number one singles championship game.

Madison’s next match is Thursday against Rigby at home.
