Firefighters have already responded to multiple brush fires in the Pocatello and Chubbuck areas as of 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Firefighters have thus far quickly extinguished all of the fires and we've received no reports about any injuries or damage to structures.
The first brush fire occurred around 8:15 p.m. at East Chubbuck and Fairgrounds roads near the Portneuf Wellness Complex and was possibly ignited by juveniles playing with fireworks.
After that brush fires were reported in the following areas: Beth Street in Pocatello, Bench Road in Pocatello and Canterbury Street in Chubbuck. Authorities haven't yet commented on what could have caused these brush fires.
Reports indicated that none of the fires scorched more than an acre of grassland.
