Year in school: senior

Age: 18

Family: “I have two older brothers Cade and Kyle Searle. My parents Jon and Tracy Searle.”

Favorite sport other than track: snow machining

Favorite thing about your team this year: “My team this year has been amazing. On the Men’s side we were very small, but I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Each one of them gave it their all on every rep. They made every workout and every drop of sweat a pleasure to be alongside of them.”

Responsibilities on the team this season had the season happened: “I would have hoped to inspire and make the team come together in each practice and meet. As there was only me and a few other seniors on the team, I was looking to carry on and create new traditions with my teammates, I think of as brothers.”

Goals and plans after high school: “I will be attending Utah State University in the fall of 2020. At Utah State, I will be majoring in agribusiness with a minor in animal, dairy, and veterinary sciences.”

Hobbies: “I enjoy training horses and taking long pack trips in the mountains.”

Something else you would like people to know about you: “Since state my Junior year, (May 2019), I have trained day in and day out to be the best athlete I could be for pole vault, and track and field in general. This past winter I was able to compete against kids in multiple states in an indoor season as an unattached athlete. I have been stripped of my final season and crushed because of it. I take this in full stride reflecting on the memories that I was able to make and the person I have become in striving to reach the goals I set before myself beginning my freshman year.”
