SALT LAKE CITY – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church News is reporting that two of its full-time missionaries were injured in a serious car crash on Friday.

The Church News reported that Elder Bryant Keck, 19, from Sanford, Colorado, and Elder Dallin Thompson, 19, from Sahuarita, Arizona, suffered injury and are in critical condition.

“(The) injuries may be life threatening,” said Church Spokesman Daniel Woodruff.

The Church reported that Elder Keck and Elder Thompson’s car collided with a truck while traveling in Kamloops, British Columbia.

“The condition of the occupants of the truck is unknown, and we pray for their well-being,” said Woodruff. “We also pray for both missionaries and their families, and we ask for the faith and prayers of others on their behalf as they navigate the difficult days ahead.”

As more information on the two elders is made available, the Standard Journal will update this story.
