Snowy weather has prompted road closures in Fremont County.

Blowing, drifting snow and low visibility has caused the Idaho Department of Transportation to close four roads in the region, reported Eric Thomas of Fremont Search and Rescue.

As of 9:12 p.m., ITD has closed Highway 20 from Ashton to the Idaho/Montana State line. It has also closed Highway 87 from Highway 20 to the Idaho/Montana State Line. Highway 32 from Ashton to Tetonia is shuttered as is Highway 33 from Newdale to Tetonia.

The National Weather Service also predicts more snow tonight throughout the region.
