The City of Rexburg held its first ever Flo-Bor Day, a combination of Arbor Day and the city's annual Beautification Day (Flower-Arbor Day). Residents gathered on Main Street in family groups, safely distanced from one another, and planted flowers in designated planter beds.
From there they gathered at the Beehive Pavilion where Porter family members spoke about the history of the park and their grandfather's legacy of civic responsibility.
Last year historic white birch trees where removed and during the Flo-Bor Day celebration participants helped plant new trees to take their place.
Here is a series of photos from the event.
