ST. ANTHONY — St. Anthony utility rates will be increasing effective Oct. 1.
According to the city newsletter, water and sewer rates will increase by one percent, and sanitation rates will stay the same.
“The city has looked at what it costs to provide these services to you and what it will take to try to keep up with increased costs. We know how hard it is to incur an increase, and so we try to save wherever we can,” states the newsletter.
However, it says that increases in rates are necessary at times to maintain such services. Those with questions may contact city offices for help.
