A woman traveling on Second West and Main Street, ran a red light and struck a pickup hauling a trailer and a boat Wednesday.

The person in the truck had the green light, said Rexburg Police Chief Shane Turman.

“She broadsided the pickup, tipped the pickup on its side and knocked the boat off the trailer,” he said.

Turman didn’t know if the woman was speeding.

“She had to be going fast enough to knock a truck over. She was in a small car,” he said.

Turman said the woman wasn’t inebriated.

An ambulance was called, but there were no injuries, he said.
