Famous LDS performer Lexi Walker is set to perform at Brigham Young University-Idaho Friday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium during BYU-Idaho’s Education Week.
“Lexi performed last year in our annual Christmas concert, but we wanted to bring her back for her very own show,” said Don Sparhawk, coordinator of the Center Stage Performing Arts Series. “At just 16 years old, she has a remarkable voice and lovely stage presence.”
Tickets for the show are $12 for the general public and $6 for BYU-Idaho students. Those who are participating in Education week will receive a $5 discount off the general public price.
Lexi Walker has performed with other recognized artists and singers including Kristen Chenoweth, The Piano Guys, and Lindsey Sterling. She has opened shows for tenor performer Alfie Boe, Country star, Clint Black, and award-winning vocalist Idina Menzel.
As a sixteen year-old recording artist, Walker has videos of her own go viral, including a “Let It Go,” music video and an a’cappella medley video “Beauty and the Beast,” with BYU-Provo’s Vocal Point.
Lexi looks forward to bringing beautiful arrangements of classic, timeless music to new audiences both close to home and around the world.
Tickets are available online at byui.edu/tickets or the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office.
