Sugar-Salem School District takes pride in reading, safety and growth

According to the Sugar-Salem School District website, their mission is to maximize the student potential of becoming lifelong learners and promote excellence through the collaborative support of family, school and community partnerships.

Schools Sugar-Salem School District will be delayed Tuesday, February 12 by two hours, according to the school district's website. 

According to the website, the high school and junior high will start at 10 a.m. Kershaw will begin at 10:10 a.m. and Central at 10:20 a.m.

The reason for the late start is due to weather conditions. 

"All Sugar Salem schools will start 2 hrs late on Tuesday due to snow and wind. Schools will be open at regular time if needed to dropped off students," according to the Madison County Sheriff's office Facebook page.
