Title-game rematch for Lionz tonight
|
After a bitter blow came from the Idaho Falls Mustangs in a last-second loss last week, the Lionz refuse to lick their wounds and are on the prowl once again. Last week's defeat may have alarmed some due to the many turnovers and penalties, but coach Jason Stucki is not too worried.
"We had a good practice on Thursday and we are hoping to go in executing top notch," said Stucki. "We would like to beat a team that has a lot of athletes. In some ways we are the underdog going into this game."
Being the underdog is nothing new to the Lionz. Even in last year's championship game where the Lionz played the Spartans, they were looked at as the underdogs. This game is more of the same for the Lionz. But, against the Spartans the Lionz are hoping to cut down on penalties, while throwing up 20 or more points on the board according to Stucki.
"Zack will come in a bit more focused, and we hope to get our timing down a bit better," said Stucki. "We just need to come in and have fun."
Today's game has got the promises of having you on the edge of your seat with the accompanying of hard hits and a lot of smack talk. Paint your face and get ready to for an exciting game that will have you up on your feet cheering for the LIonz, as they seek to pull off the upset.
