Pedestrian hit by vehicle while walking on road

SUGAR CITY - A pedestrian was hit south of Sugar City on South Teton Avenue near Stoddard Lane on Wednesday about 8 p.m.. The vehicle, believed to be a Ford Ranger pickup, struck the man, who was walking on the side of the road, which does not have a sidewalk. The man was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital. No more details were released as of press time.
