The duo did not disappoint Saturday night as they combined to score 36 of the Cougars' 43 points in a 43-39 win at Marsh Valley.
Trailing by five at intermission, South Fremont took over in the third.
"Adams hit some shots in the third to put us by eight," the South Fremont coach said. "It was a big third quarter."
For the game, only four South Fremont players found their names in the scoring column.
"I would like a lot more (scoring) balance," McClure said. "But Jesse was shooting so well that we just kept feeding him the ball."
Adams finished with 19, while Bair added 17.
The Cougars won the game at the defensive end of the court.
"To hold a team to 39 points," McClure said. "Defensively, we played well."
South Fremont limited Marsh Valley's Shawn Rowe to seven points in Saturday's contest.
In a game in St. Anthony on Nov. 28, Rowe burned South Fremont for 16 points.
South Fremont (4-2) will play at Snake River on Wednesday.
"They're very good and very physical," McClure said. "They are a tough match-up for anybody, especially on their floor."
A boxscore from Saturday's game was not available.
