"We came out with a lot more intensity," said Sugar-Salem coach Todd Jensen.
Early on, it seemed Marsh Valley would give the Lady Diggers a game.
Marsh Valley scored the first four points of the game to build an early lead.
However, Sugar-Salem finished the opening period on a 13-2 run and would never look back.
"It just took us a second," Jensen said. "The Rigby game made us more intense going into this game."
The key to Thursday's game was in the rebounding department.
The Lady Diggers outrebounded Marsh Valley, 24-14.
